Sunday Peek is a free weekly email newsletter about artificial intelligence, run by Erik Winzell. This page explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights. We've kept it short and plain.
Who is responsible for your data
Sunday Peek, run by Erik Winzell, is the data controller. You can reach us at hello@sundaypeek.com.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you subscribe.
- Basic engagement data when we send emails — for example, whether an email was opened or a link was clicked. This helps us understand whether the newsletter is useful.
We don't ask for your name or any other personal details to subscribe.
Why we use it
We use your email address to send you the newsletter you signed up for. Our legal basis is your consent, which you give when you subscribe. You can withdraw it at any time by unsubscribing.
Who handles it for us
We use a few trusted services to run the newsletter:
- Beehiiv stores your email and sends the newsletter. Beehiiv is based in the United States, so your data may be processed outside the EU, under the safeguards Beehiiv provides.
- Netlify hosts this website.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Cookies and tracking
This website doesn't use tracking cookies of its own. The subscribe form is provided by Beehiiv, which may set cookies needed for the form to work. Email open and click tracking is handled by Beehiiv when we send an issue.
How long we keep it
We keep your email for as long as you're subscribed. If you unsubscribe, or ask us to delete your data, we remove it promptly.
Your rights
Under EU data protection law (the GDPR), you can:
- ask what data we hold about you,
- ask us to correct or delete it,
- withdraw consent or unsubscribe at any time — there's an unsubscribe link in every email,
- complain to your local data protection authority.
To use any of these, email hello@sundaypeek.com.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
